In 2018, we saw a couple of major breakthroughs in surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures—including Alastin’s TransFORM body product and the Juvederm Vollure filler.
The TransFORM body product is something that’s especially relevant for those having CoolSculpting done; basically, it speeds up the results and minimizes the appearance of loose skin or a “crepey” skin texture. It’s a great example of an established cosmetic procedure being made even better.
As for the Juvederm Vollure filler, it’s an FDA-approved treatment for wrinkles and fine lines on the face, though it really comes with a lot of applications. One thing that makes it so exciting—a true breakthrough, in our opinion—is how long-lasting it is. For some of our patients, the results of a single injection last up to 18 months!
Industry Staples Still Packing a Punch
We’re always excited about the latest and greatest cosmetic products, but we also want to shine a light on some of the tried-and-true treatments that are still offering amazing value, even in 2018.
Take the Mommy Makeover—which for years has been our most popular procedure. Vectra imaging helps patients improve their satisfaction level by showing them a more than 90 percent accurate image of what they will look like post-procedure. Over the past year, we’ve seen our clients enjoy great satisfaction and success with a number of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures—including a few in-office procedures that we think are top-tier in the cosmetic industry.
First there’s CoolSculpting. This is a painless, non-surgical way to remove stubborn, extra skin all over the body, though we’ve found that it’s especially effective when targeted to the arms.
