Charlotte Plastic Surgery's Dr. Jack F. Scheuer III speaks on breast augmentation, better known as breast implant, options and which ones may be the best depending on someone's physique and what they are looking to accomplish. There are a few deciding factors that need to go into breast augmentation before making the final decision to have this type of surgical procedure done. The first of these is size. Breast implant size is one of the most important characteristics that determine the end result of a breast augmentation procedure. Breast implant size is measured in ccs, typically from 200cc to 600cc. Implant size choices usually come down to a combination of the patient's anatomy and the degree of naturalness of the desired final result. Another factor to consider is the type of surgical incision that the surgeon will make when the operation is underway. This is a decision that your surgeon can help you with and should be consulted on before undergoing surgery.

Fortunately, says Dr. Nyame, there are several options available. According to Dr. Nyame, for men with just excess fat, liposuction is a great Gynecomastia treatment option. Sometimes, however, the excess fat is accompanied by a moderate amount of excess skin. In this case, Dr. Nyame recommends both liposuction and removal of the excess skin.
