Charlotte Plastic Surgery Partners with Carolina Breast Friends to Support 'The Pink House' Project
Practice to Donate Up to $10,000 to Support Breast Cancer Survivors
Charlotte, N.C. – October is breast cancer awareness month and in recognition, Charlotte Plastic Surgery will donate $200 to Carolina Breast Friends for every Botox injection procedure they perform throughout the month, up to $10,000.
Carolina Breast Friends was founded by Kristy Adams-Ebel, a friend of the physicians at Charlotte Plastic Surgery. It was her vision that inspired the creation of ‘The Pink House’ project, which will be located on Morehead St., offering a unique respite center for breast cancer survivors.
“We are honored to be able to support such an important local initiative that also honors the memory of one of our dear friends,” said Stephan Finical, M.D. “We can’t think of a better way to support the community than to provide funding for the creation of The Pink House, which will offer the ultimate sanctuary for breast cancer survivors.”
Each room of ‘The Pink House’ will guide a woman through key steps on her breast cancer recovery journey - research, fitness, nutrition, wellness, self-image, and counseling. It is the hope that Charlotte’s ‘pink house’ will be the first of many ‘pink houses’ located across the country.
